TLC or total leukocyte count are white colored blood cells which defend our body against infections and diseases. They may decrease in number in certain disease making the body prone to infections.
TLC or total leukocyte count is a blood test that measures the number of white blood cells in the body. Any deviation from the normal range implies a disease process. Both increased and decreased values suggest some underlying abnormality. This is the routine test in CBC.
To interpret test results use the reference range in the laboratory report.
