Dengue is an infection caused by a virus. You can get it if an infected mosquito bites you. Dengue does not spread from person to person. Symptoms include a high fever, headaches, joint and muscle pain, vomiting, and a rash.
Rapid Dengue IgM & IgG is used as a screening test for Dengue viral infection and as an aid for differential diagnosis of primary and secondary infections in conjunction with other criteria.
To interpret test results use the reference range in the laboratory report.
