HBeAb or anti-HBe (Hepatitis B e-Antibody) - This antibody is made in response to the e-antigen and is detected in patients who have recovered from hepatitis B infections as well as those who are chronically infected.
Hepatitis B e-Antibody test is used to know the presence of antibodies that would indicate a past or current hepatitis B infection.This tests may be ordered by your doctor to know the presence of antibodies in response to the Hepatitis B e-antigen.
To interpret test results use the reference range in the laboratory report.
